Hummingbird Early Learning Centre & Out of School Care

Hummingbird Early Learning Centre & OSC is a relationship-first, inclusive and child-centered daycare in Edmonton located in the community of Dovercourt. We see children as capable, curious learners and place strong, trusting relationships with children and families at the heart of our work.

Inspired by Reggio Emilia and guided by the FLIGHT framework, our program embraces child-led learning, open-ended play, creativity, inquiry and plenty of outdoor exploration. We believe learning happens everywhere, so we connect with our neighbourhood and wider community through walks, field trips and real-world experiences.

Above all, we strive to create a welcoming place where every child feels known, valued, supported and a true sense of belonging.
